Coming from either Rome or Florence Using the A1 Autostrada, take the exit for Monte San Savino.
After paying the toll charges, (You may wish to set your trip meter to zero) at the main road turn right heading for Castiglion Fiorentino (SP39). Follow the signs for Castiglion Fiorentino.
At the Road junction (T-Junction), turn Left (4.4km) towards Castiglion Fiorentino. At the traffic lights, go straight on and follow the road towards Castiglion Fiorentino.
On entry to Castiglion Fiorentino (after the Co-Op market on your right), there is a 'T' Junction (14.4km), turn Right towards Cortona. Pass 2 roundabouts, after the second you will eventually see an AGIP gas/petrol station on your Right) (16.1km), continue to traffic lights and turn left heading towards Valle di Chio. Then take the second (main) turning on the left (17.7km) (by the Cappuccini Church). Then take the very first right in direction to Santa Christina and stay on this road for about 5 minutes and look for our clearly marked Reception on the right at the foot of a beautiful Pine tree.

Castiglion Fiorentino is a stop on most direct and regional trains that travel on the north – south R:R route crossing Italy. From Florence’s S.M. Novella Train Station it takes close to 1 hour to arrive, while form Rome’s Termini train station it take approximately 2 hours to arrive to Castiglion Fiorentino.

Beware not to get on any Express, EuroStar or IC trains, since they do not make this stop.
