Il Borgo

Agriturismo with swimming pool, Borgo Santo Stefano, was a small Tuscan farming homestead constructed around the 1850. It is situated in a panoramic position on the Tuscan hillside of Santo Stefano with a breathtaking view of the entire Valley of Chio and only 7 km from the town of Castiglion Fiorentino and a step away from Cortona and Umbria. It is composed of the original farm house and barn. With the restructuring work finished in 1998, the farm house was divided into two charming apartments, Casa Fufigna 1 e 2, and a small independent villa, Il Granaio. The entire property is surrounded by a spectacular landscaped garden that permits each unit to have private spaces outside, as well as, being able to share the swimming pool, 8 m X 5 m, which is centrally located. Guests can also enjoy cooking on the large stone barbeque. The villa apartments also offers its guests covered parking for 3 cars.

While Borgo Santo Stefano can be rented out as individual units, it can also be requested as a single villa for a family reunion or group of friends sleeping 12 to 16 guests.

All the apartments are furnished with fully equipped kitchens with stove top, oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher, living areas with telephone, television and Wi-Fi internet connection, laundry area with washing machine, independent heating, and hairdryers. Our rates also include bed linens, bath towels, kitchen cloths and tools, dishware and silverware, cups and glasses, electricity, water, and final cleaning.

Ground floor

The first apartment is located on the Ground Floor and is composed of a living room with a sofa bed, fireplace, well equipped kitchen, 1 master bedroom with a private bathroom with bathtub, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, and a bathroom with a bathtub. The entrance to the apartment is through a private garden with a gazebo and a table seating 4 to 6 people.

Casa Fufigna

First floor

The second apartment is located on the First Floor and is composed of a living room with a fireplace, well equipped kitchen, 1 master bedroom, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower. To enter the apartment, guests go up external stairs leading to a small covered loggia. It offers a private area outside with gazebo and a table seating 4 people.

Il Granaio

This charming structure, originally a barn is laid out on two floors. The Ground Floor is composed of a living room with a sofa bed, fireplace, well equipped ample kitchen, dining room, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a bathroom with shower. Guest go up a wood staircase from the living room to reach the First Floor were the master bedroom and private bathroom with bathtub is locate. From the master bedroom one can go directly down to the garden by using its private exterior stone staircase. The outside garden is also accessed by a door out of the kitchen and boasts an ample private area with a table seating 4/6 people in which to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of the Tuscan hillside.
