The Villa

Villa La Guardata is nestled in the Tuscan hillside covered by an olive grove at 350 meters above sea level in a panoramic position showcasing the town of Castiglion Fiorentino which is only 2 km away. This imposing stone structure was built in the 1700 on top of a military outpost at the feet of the D’Ernia Castle by a noble family who used it as a country home. In 1996, it was restructured and while preserving the exterior of the original building, the interior was divided into two independent apartments. The beautiful swimming pool is 10 m x 5 m and is surrounded by a carefully landscaped garden with a Mediterranean essencee; circondata da un curatissimo giardino con essenze mediterranee.

While La Guardata can be rented out as individual units, it can also be requested as a single villa for a large family sleeping up to 10 people with its big common areas like the ample living area on the ground floor and the outside dining spaces.

All the apartments are furnished with fully equipped kitchens with stove top, oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher, living areas with telephone, television and Wi-Fi internet connection, laundry area with washing machine, independent heating, and hairdryers. Our rates also include bed linens, bath towels, kitchen cloths and tools, dishware and silverware, cups and glasses, electricity, water, and final cleaning.

Apartment located on the Ground Floor and composed of an ample living room with fireplace, well equipped kitchen, dining room with a table seating 8/10 people, 1 master bedroom with private bathroom with bathtub, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and a bathroom with shower. It is accessed from a charming portico with an antique wood oven that also works as a barbeque. The garden includes a table seating 8/10 people.

Apartment located on the First Floor and composed of a living room with sofa bed, well equipped kitchen, dining room with fireplace and a table seating 8 people, 1 master bedroom with private bathroom with bathtub, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, and a bathroom with bathtub. The apartment is accessed through a beautiful loggia that offers the ideal place to have breakfast and enjoy the panoramic view of the Tuscan hillside. Outside of the apartment is located a barbeque pit an exterior table seating 6/8 people.
