WINE CELLAR

Our company rich in history and tradition, is situated in the splendid Tuscan Valley of Chio where the special environmental conditions favor the production of an excellent Valdichiana DOC wines and a very high quality extra-virgin olive oil. The estate extends through a territory of 60 hectares of which 3 are dedicated to the vineyard situated 300 meters above see level on a southerly exposed galestro terrain (sandstone derived soils). The main grape types are: Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Syrah, Merlot, Trebbiano, Grechetto e Vermentino. The passion we hold for our land has guided us to produce wines tied to the Tuscan tradition. The selection of bunches of grapes during the maturing stages, the selection of the ripen grapes during the hand picking and the cured processes in the cellar that unite modern technologies with traditional wisdom contribute to our wines expressing the character of the territory.

In 2000, we received the certification for origin and quality, VALDICHIANA DOC, for our wines PAGGINO, ARRONE e POVENTA. In 2004, our wine production was enriched with an IGT Toscana Merlot, MERIGGE.
