PRODUCTS

With respect to Tuscan tradition, we have privileged the making of wines that have strong ties to the territory, VALDICHIANA DOC and IGT Toscana. The same considerations were given to the production of our Organic EXTRA-VIRGIN OLIVE OIL IGP Toscano.
The choice of our product’s names have also found inspiration in the antique dialect of the Valdichiana.
Today we make three red wines, ARRONE, POVENTA and MERIGGE, one white wine, PAGGINO, one vinsanto (dessert wine) ARMANSE, two types of grappa, CALUVVIA and FIARA and one organic extra-virgin olive oil, OLIVOLO.

OLIVE OIL

The olive grove extends for 15 hectares with a total of 5000 trees. Nearly 80% of our olives are of the variety Moraiolo, while the remaining 20% is composed of the varieties Frantoio and Leccino. Our grove is planted at an altitude of approximately 450 meters above see level. The soil is galestro, that is sandstone derived, and the terrain is terraced. The pruning method used is poly-cone. The olives are hand picked between the months of October and December and processed in a continuous cycle.
